Oscar Capezio put on a exhibition a few weeks ago called “Copy Cat”

With the idea of creating one big zine exhibition, everything was printed on a Xerox printer. Then people were able to take home work to create there own. Such a great idea.

It featured artwork by Oscar Capezio, myself, Clyde Arnott, Charlie White, Clinton Hayden (MLB), Yash Mansoori (STHLM), Bank Yota, and Swerfk. These are some photos. Taken by Oscar.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been hanging around the north side.

I was talking to a friend about skateboarders. He was saying that in skateboarding its such a personal sport. But therefore you end up making your own team. With any bunch of skateboarders, it is most definitely about your “team” or family to say the least. And I think that’s one thing i love about hanging out with the Belco crew. Its such a beautiful family. They might look rough around the edges, but i think that’s what makes them even more special. This probably sounds lame as all hell, but I’m so glad to be able to be accepted into such an amazing bunch of people.

Anyway, finally this is the what i took at the Creature Demo. I have to pre-warn, i was a little bit intoxicated for most of these photos. But saying that, best day ever.

It was Mat Rats Birthday.

But i gotta say, there was so much love in the air.

And booze. Possible understatement.

Then it was home time and Bud sang some songs.

These were from the NGA. I suggest you go check out the insane garden they have there. I can never remember what the name of the sculpture room thing they have there is called but its beautiful never the less.
